Any Unit or any Woman who contributes to each one of the five Channels of Undesignated Giving is eligible to receive recognition as a 5-Star Unit / 5-Star Woman.
This recognition is done at the Rio Grande Conference
UMW Annual Meeting . The reporting is done through the Local Treasurer to the District Treasurer to the Conference Treasurer

En cada unidad o en cada mujer quien contribuye para cada uno de las cinco formas de Donaciones designadas es elegible para recibir reconocimiento de "UNIDAD DE CINCO ESTRELLAS" O "MUJER DE 5 ESTRELLAS".
Este reconocimiento es dado en la Conferencia Anual de Mujeres Meotodistas Unidas de Rio Grande. El reporte es atraves de la tesorera local o de la tesorera Distrital o Conferencial.

SPECIAL MISSION RECOGNITION
A special Mission Recognition is an undesignated gift for mission work through the Women’s Division in honor of the recipient. A pin with a certificate may be obtained to honor any woman or man that meets the criteria designated by the local group or individual. The basic $40 gift is a small gold oval lapel pin with a cross and a white certificate. The recognition ranges in donation from $40 - $1,000 with the pins and certificates differing at each level./RECONOCIMIENTO DE LA MISIÓN ESPECIAL
El reconocimiento de la misión especial es un regalo no designado por el trabajo misionero a través de la División de Mujeres en honor del destinatario. Un broche con un certificado se puede obtener en honor a cualquier hombre o mujer que cumpla con los criterios designados por el grupo local o individual. El don básico $ 40 es un broche de oro pequeña solapa oval con una cruz y un certificado. GIFT TO MISSIONA Gift to Mission is a way to honor someone with an undesignated gift in her or his name of at least $5.00. These funds support the total program of mission carried out through the Women's Division of the General Board of Global Ministries. Un regalo para la misión es una manera de honrar a alguien con un regalo no designados en su o a su nombre de por lo menos $ 5.00. Estos fondos apoyan el programa total de la misión llevada a cabo a través de la División de Mujeres de la Junta General de Ministerios Globales. Un regalo para la misión es una manera de conmemorar una variedad de ocasiones especiales o eventos, incluyendo en honor a un orador especial.
GIFT IN MEMORYA Gift in Memory through UMW honors the memory of a much-loved family member or friend. It honors a life of service through making possible additional mission work in the U.S. and around the world. The cards are filled in by the purchaser and sent to the family of the deceased person. Each card includes instructions for remitting the desired dollar amount through the channels of UMW.REGALO EN LA MEMORIA Un regalo en memoria a través de UMW honra la memoria de un familiar muy querido o amigo. Rinde homenaje a una vida de servicio a través de hacer que el trabajo sea posible misión adicional en los EE.UU. y en todo el mundo. Las cartas están llenas por el comprador y se envía a la familia de la persona fallecida. "Thanks be to God for his gift beyond words!" These gifts are usually collected during a special service or program by the unit and are sent by the local unit treasurer of UMW to the district treasurer. OFRENDA MUNDIAL DE DAR GRACIAS
